She was born and raised in Ioannina. She is a graduate of the Medical School of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University Hospital of Ioannina. She then moved to the United Kingdom where she chose to pursue her career. She has worked at internationally renowned health centers such as the Northern Gynecological Oncology Center in Gateshead, the Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton, and the Guy’s & St Thomas Hospital in London. Recently, Dr. Founta is active in Athens, working with Mitera Hospital. Her aim is to offer personalized and high quality medical services to women.
